Lisa Petterson CTDI
Instructor for Agility, Tricks, and Rally-O Classes
Lisa has been training her own dogs since 2009 when she was 13. She is a firm believer of positive methods and having fun with your dog, whether you are doing tricks or serious agility competitions. Though she is young, she has had many successes with her own dogs, including earning the Agility Trial Champion of Canada title, a fifth place overall finish at the 2013 AAC BC/Yukon Regional Agility Competition, and many top ten National placements with her past golden retriever Toby. Lisa's Bernese Mountain Dog, Nellie, is also the first Bernese in Canada to earn the Champion Trick Dog title, and she also has her Canine Good Neighbour title. Lisa's youngest dog, Junie, started competing in 2014 and since then they have accomplished a lot in the world of agility, including a top ten finish at both the 2015 AAC Regionals and Nationals, and many titles in both AAC and UKI. Both Nellie and Junie have Novice level CARO Rally-O titles.
Lisa has earned many junior handler agility titles through the AAC with a variety of dogs. She also is a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through the Do More With Your Dog Program and has recently become a Bronze Level Trainer (with the same program).
